SSTV
Slow Scan Television (SSTV) is a method of transmitting still images over radio frequencies. It transmits images much more slowly than traditional television, usually one frame every few seconds to several minutes, depending on the mode and bandwidth used.
SSTV operates by encoding visual information as audio tones, which can then be transmitted using standard radio equipment. When received, these audio signals are decoded back into images by specialized software or hardware. The images transmitted via SSTV can be of various resolutions and color depths, often constrained by the bandwidth and the quality of the transmission.
